Zambia & Uganda reporting portals

At the end of 2020 we began a learning awareness programme to promote both the Zambian and Ugandan portals and raise awareness of child online safety. The pilot – which will continue into 2021 – includes a marketing campaign and training for local law enforcement and child helpline staff to give them the tools to respond to cases of child sexual abuse.

We’re collaborating with marketing agencies on the ground and many partners, including our portal partners NITA and ZICTA, our INGO partners ICMEC and Child Helpline International, and our IWF Members MTN and Facebook.

The programme is funded by the UK Government’s Conflict, Sustainability and Security Fund.
